The WoodRiver® 6″ Woodworking Vise is a sturdy low cost vise that can be permanently mounted or portable, depending on your needs. The 6″-wide jaws will open to about 4-5/8″, with the vise screw fully engaged, which jaw facings of any kind will reduce. Features include a pair of 1/2″ guide rods and 1/2″ screw providing strength and power to this little gem, as well as predrilled bench mounting tabs for permanent installation and an integral table clamp with a 2-1/4″ capacity if you need mobility. Weight is a tad over 6 lbs. 4 oz., so don’t drop it on your foot.
