Ulu Savik Knife 8Cr13MoV Unfinished Kit

Crafted by Native Alaskan residents over 5,000 years ago, the ULU knife was primarily used by Eskimo women for skinning and cleaning fish. Today people everywhere have discovered the versatility of this knife for slicing meats, dicing vegetables and much more. The knife’s long sweeping curved blade and rocking motion make it extremely easy to use. Since the center of force is concentrated over the middle of the blade, it creates twice the downward force compared to conventional cutlery.
We have taken the traditional ULU knife design and have given it an updated look, while retaining all of the great attributes and uses. The ULU Savik is crafted from high quality 8Cr13Mov stainless steel that has a stone wash finish/appearance.
