Synthetic fibre board-based material is made from cotton canvas that is layered and covered in phenol resin prior to being compressed and baked. This process produces a dense material that is very hard, durable, and water-resistant. During the shaping process the scale material will take on a unique appearance due to the layered manufacturing process.
