Narrow Blade Honing Guide

The Veritas® Narrow-Blade Honing Guide consists of the narrow-blade clamping head, the standard Mk.II roller base and the angle registration jig. Veritas designed the jig for those who primarily sharpen chisels. Whether they’re beveled or square edged, the chisel blades are kept centered and tight to the reference face of the jig plate by parallel, canted jaws to ensure a precise cutting edge every time. The jig will handle blades from 1/8″ to 1-1/2″ wide, bevel-edged chisels up to 15/32″ thick, and square-edged chisels up to 11/32″ thick, and it hones bevel angles from 15° to 40° and back bevels from 10° to 20°.
