The Festool Extraction Hood with Light Module LM‑OF1400 improves routing accuracy by combining shadow‑free illumination with effective dust extraction directly at the cut. Designed for all Festool OF 1400 routers, it keeps the cutting area clearly visible while helping maintain a cleaner workspace during routing operations.

The integrated LED light module delivers 360° illumination around the router bit, reducing shadows that can obscure layout lines and cutting edges. Two selectable brightness levels allow adjustment to changing lighting conditions, helping maintain consistent visibility across different work environments. Because the light sits close to the cutter, visibility stays clear even when routing deeper profiles or working close to edges.

Dust extraction at the routing area helps keep the cut line visible and reduces airborne debris. The hood installs without tools and locks securely to the router base, making it easy to add or remove as needed. A built‑in rechargeable battery powers the light independently of the router, delivering up to 6 hours of runtime and recharging via USB‑C®.
